The Executive Protection industry is as wide and varied as the clients that we protect. 

 

In reality the chances of being armed during a UK or European EP operation are slim, so therefore it is vital that the EP operative has a good grasp of quick, efficient and proportionate physical unarmed techniques to deal with threats of numerous severity.

The 3 day EPIC course is a use of force workshop geared towards the specific protective physical skills of the modern Executive Protection operative.  Giving a realistic and proportional response to a threat to a client, EPIC teaches the students how to recognise an attacker’s behaviour, assess quickly through the use of body language indicators and then respond effectively by way of combative and team integration techniques.

By utilising tactical methodology EPIC allows the protection operative to apply these skills when dealing with an armed aggressive attacker (knife/firearm) and in numerous realistic environments (vehicle/office/public meeting).

This training is conducted by close protection operatives FOR close protection operatives and our senior instructor has over two decades worth of CP, combatives and self protection teaching experience in training civilians, law enforcement and specialist security personnel.

Please note * that you are attending a course where you will be assessed by a written and practical examination in order to achieve your qualification certificate.  This is a pass or fail course.  Attendance does not guarantee you a pass.

Please note * this course is exclusively geared towards people who are already SIA CP licensed.  We will accept no one that does not have a valid CP licence.  Proof of licence details will be required (SIA number/scan of licence) before the booking can be completed.
